a redesigner, focal points, furniture arrangement, lighting, wall
groupings, tabletop vignettes, & room-shopping, are all part of my
training and part of the successful composition of your new room. I
can look at your home and furnishings with “fresh eyes” and see
forgotten possibilities. I listen to how you want the room to feel
and function and then work to make that happen. So the
Room Works!
My
goal is to create a comfortable, inviting room that complements your
taste, and has a distinctive style that’s all yours- but with a
designer’s touch. You get to come back to a revitalized “new” room
and you haven’t had to lift a finger or buy anything new. This is
easy on your wallet and your back! Redesigners “spend” a
little time in your rooms and the “change” you get back is
priceless!
 Room
Works Interior Redesign is very affordable. You can renew
an entire room for less than the cost of a new coffee table. Often,
you can buy that new coffee table, chair or even a sofa, and it
still doesn’t “fix” look or feel of the room. It won’t give you a
complete new look in your room. Only a redesign can do that. When

Q...But
I don’t need to hire you to move my furniture around do I? Why
couldn’t I just do it myself?
A...Well, you could move your furniture and redo all
your accessories yourself. Chances are you already have,
several times, and you don’t get the results you hoped for.
That’s the problem with working with your own things. You keep
looking at them the same old ways. Even decorators sometimes
hire other decorators to do their own rooms.
Q...Why
can’t you just give me a floor plan or tell me where to put
things?
A...You can certainly hire me to do floor plans. They
are a good start. They look good on paper, but in three
dimension, they may not look as good in the actual room. I
often change the plan as the room progresses to improve its
scale or balance. |
